Know About RFID Chips in Humans

In general, the RFID chips are widely used in any system. These are being used in healthcare, retail and manufacturing and in the business. In the health care industry, mostly RFID is used for maintaining the health records of the patients. If the person is suffering from any serious disease then RFID can be used by the medical practitioner for tracking the patient’s conditions on a timely basis.

The US Food and Drug Administration firstly implanted the RFID chip in humans. As the chips are of small size, they can be implanted easily. They implanted mostly for the patients who were suffering from the diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and other complex diseases. Generally, the RFID chip stores a unique number which is used for retrieving the information from the data base.

Advantages Of RFID chips in humans: Coming to the advantages of the RFID chips, it is used for monitoring the disease in the human body. It is used for long term diseases like diabetes. It is also used for tracking the patients and the staff of the hospital.

Disadvantages of RFID chips in humans: The health of the patient gets affected using the RFID chips. The migration of the implantation of the transponder, tissue reaction will occur. Because of the implantable RFID, cancer cells are being generated resulting in malignant tumors. Failures of the implanted transponder, magnetic resonance imaging compatibility are also occurred using the RFID chips.

Many bans are being conducted against the implantation in human beings because of the occurrence of several diseases. In 2008, California governor banned forced implantation of the unique identifiers called RFID’s.
