Making Halloweens More Scary with Different Decorations

Hosting a Halloween is fun at the same time a great responsibility. If it is not decorated in a proper way the essence of the theme gets wasted and your party becomes not that interesting. Decoration makes, creates and sets the mood of Halloween parties. If you are planning the Halloween in you house you have to make it look like a haunted house in a more spooky but in a funny way. Here are few ideas about decorating the home for scary Halloweens.

Two main colors used in Halloween decorations are orange and black. When talking about orange it is the time to talk about Jack-o-lanterns. In fact no Halloween is complete with out using them. Try to make them few and decorate the entrances and door sides with these lanterns. You can also put them in your back yards and around the house.

Lighting is an essential element which makes the Halloweens more scary. Consider the same old color of orange and replace the regular light ones. Here you can effectively use glow sticks of orange color to bring that glowing effect. You can also use mini sticks instead of the candles in the Jack-o-lanterns.

And the regular decorations inside the house should be made of hand made crafts and picture frames which are hanged from the curtain rods and the wall hangers. You can also use some plastic spiders and bats to make the effect more scary.

The food can also be served in some carved pumpkins and other vegetable carvings. Using different food colors one can bring the Halloween effect even to the food. Use some red and green colors to present your food so that it looks really interesting. The table can also be decorated using a white sheet with some red hand marks on it to bring that scary look.

Take the help of your family and friends in doing decorations for Halloweens and you can make it the best with your own creative ideas.
