Nuclear Weapon - Powerful Threat to World

Nuclear war fare and nuclear weapons are the biggest threat to life on Earth. I must say that if a nuclear warfare starts, it will impact almost three-fourths of the life on the entire earth. Already some countries have pointed their nuclear missiles on their targets that range from military areas to large populated civilian areas of their rival countries. Advanced technology has aided them to detonate nuclear-wars within minutes of the decision. The largest among those are US obviously, Russia, UK and China. Other countries with fewer possibilities of firing nuclear weapons are India, France, North Korea and Pakistan. Even Israel is said to possess nuclear weapons but it is refusing to acknowledge it.

There are basically 3 types of nuclear weapons. The first one is the fission bomb which explodes through nuclear fission. These are also referred to as Atom bombs. The second type is called thermonuclear bomb which explode through nuclear fusion. These are also referred as Hydrogen bomb. The other type of nuclear bomb is boosted fission weapon with both fission and fusion reactions. We must be happy that there are only bombs and not guns which are easy to carry.

Tips for Safe Online Banking

Of all the questions that have been asked about online banking, the most common question would be, "Is online banking safe?” here are some tips to make your online banking safe:

  • Never make any online banking transactions in public terminals like Internet cafes.
  • The risk of interception when using a wireless connection is much higher – make sure you are aware of this. Do only if you are absolutely certain of the security of the connection.
  • Make sure that your spy-ware and anti-virus programs are updated and it is wise to perform regular system scans.
  • Never access a banking site through a link. Instead, type out the address into the browser bar or you can save the address in your favorites
  • Never open any other sites when you are logged into an online banking site. Make sure that there is only one window open.
  • Choose your user ID and password carefully – it shouldn’t be easy for others to guess. Change your password regularly.
  • Update your computer software regularly.
  • Once you are done with your Internet banking, make sure you log out and close the browser window.
  • Never give you password on the Internet (through emails) or over the phone to anyone.
  • Unless the bank in question verifies it, don’t ever trust a PDF payment proof, as these types of documents can easily be manipulated by frauds.

However, if you do run into any trouble with any of the online features of your account, you can go to the bank for help and will get an immediate response for it. Most banks completely separate their online services from their person-to-person customer servicing, ensuring that you will call their Internet-banking support team.

Swine Flu - Spreading Rapidly Across The World

Swine flu linked to hundreds of deaths since its detection in March, which now is affecting each and every country. The World Health Organization declared the first influenza pandemic in four decades in June 09.

Swine flu caused more than 800 deaths, and though the WHO no longer provides figures on the number of infected people worldwide, swine flu has spread to 160 of the organization’s 193 member states.

In addition to the death number, lives have become miserable, including school closings, changes in church rituals and warnings that vulnerable Muslims should not embark on the pilgrimage to Mecca.

The great fear among experts is that the virus can convert into a more virulent form and leave much damage in its wake. The disease is spreading in both southern and northern hemispheres.

The virus was first uncovered in Mexico and combines swine, human and avian influenza. Most deaths have occurred in the Americas, with the United States, Argentina and Mexico recording the highest number of fatalities.

How to give a classic look to your home?

bathroom vanities DallasHome is the best place on earth – for me and many people all around the world.

However, many people adjust themselves even with congested rooms in their house, for years. There may be many reasons for this like money issues, place issues, or concerns on disfiguring the existing home.

Many people didn’t know about conservatories earlier, but these are growing popular as an effective solution for expanding a house. Apart from expansion, people can give a classic look to their home without any concerns on disfiguring.

Installation of a conservatory is not a typical DIY task. Thus, you will require a professional to handle the installation process. Apart from installation process a competent conservatory solution provider takes care of giving advice on which design and material to choose, how to layout a foundation, on which part of the house to execute, etc.

The cost of installing a conservatory is not much compared to the value they provide to your house.

Banks Interested In Taking Than Giving

I still remember my friend trying desperately to get a loan. He has applied for many big banks and also the small ones; and every time he got the same answer to his application form – “rejected”

It’s not only the case with just my friend. Many others were rejected for no good reason. They had good intentions towards spending the money; and some were with urgent requirement of financial aid. But, still none of the banks responded positive towards people. It is a fact that banks have reduced giving loans to people and businesses.

I understand their situation if they might have been in serious conditions of financial crisis. But these were the same banks, which received huge bailouts from the government. And where did government get this money to give them their bailout?

From us of course!

The money we pay in taxes to the government is redirected to banks and other businesses in form of bailouts and financial aids. But they are not even concerned about our dilemmas. They cut jobs as many as they want, they reject loan applications as they like and we have no government on our side to support us.

20 Percent Decline In Vacation Home Rental Prices

Don’t be surprised if you see lower vacation home rental prices at some place in US, than the previous year’s. In fact, you have every right to ask for a rebate in vacation home rents, if you have gone to some vacation place with your family.

Demand and price are often related to each other. The more is the demand, so higher is the price. When the demand declines, the price should also come down.

This strategy applies to all the products that you are able to get in discounts and rebates these days. These include the vacation home rentals too.

Summer has arrived in some places already and so are the vacations. But many people are planning to celebrate their vacations in their homes itself. The recession and the meltdown, is obviously the main reason for this.

This resulted in lower demand to tourism spots and vacation rental homes. Landowners had no choice except to lower their rental prices by 20%.
