Few Things to Avoid while Driving a Car

Driver's duty is to drive safely. Driver is responsible to provide safety to passengers and as well as pedestrians and other drivers on the road. You may injure yourself, your passengers and others on the road to avoid accidents. If you follow these factors then you can avoid accidents. Such as:
  • Cell phones: Many drivers talk on mobile phones while driving. It may be an easy thing, but it may create problems and accidents. There should be a limit for using cell phones while driving. You can use hands free devices.
  • Tailgating: Accidents can be caused easily by tailgating or riding very close to the car in front of you. If the space is limited then you can react quickly. At least four seconds should be left between you and the car in front of you.
  • Other Distractions: Other distractions can be minimized in the car while driving such as a radio, CD, or MP3 players. Driver should not be distracted intentionally by any one by touching or yelling while driving.
  • Should not use Alcohol and drug: Generally, traffic accidents are caused by driving after taking alcohol and drug. When driver plans to drive the vehicle he should avoid consuming alcohol or drug. If it is possible, it is better not take certain prescription and non prescription medications like painkillers, sleep aids. There are warnings on the many of the drugs regarding operating motor vehicle.
So, you should avoid these things while driving, then you can have safe journey or trip. Safety is not only for you but also for others.
