Get the Glow for Your Wedding by Doing Yoga Asanas

Your skin is the first thing people notice in your wedding. Therefore, it is important to have it looking great and beautiful. To remove wrinkles and to get youthful and radiant skin for your wedding day, you need to make yoga as a regular practice before wedding. Practicing yoga does works for the mind and body. It is the perfect exercise for people who lead busy, stress-filled lives who want to look and feel their best. In general, yoga improves skin health by reducing stress and removing toxins from the body. In fact, there are certain asanas that are especially good at this, and therefore especially good for the skin.

Following are some of the asanas for your skin.

Tadasana or Mountain Pose: This is a standing pose allows you to focus deep, rhythmic breathing-an essential element of healthy skin. It is believed that drawing oxygen into, though, and out of the body releases harmful toxins and keeps vital systems running optimally.

Utkatasana or Chair Pose: Chair pose is a challenging pose because it makes the heart beat faster, increasing the blood circulation flow throughout the body and promoting the skin to sweat out impurities. This pose lengthens and strengthens the thigh muscles.

Bharadwaja's twist or Seated Twist: Twisted positions are great for digestive health, which is important for moving toxic things out of the organs. However, twisting is not enough, deep cleansing breaths are a necessary component to the pose.

Bow pose: In this pose body bends in such a way that it assumes the shape of a bow. Performing this asana stimulates the digestive system and increases the flow of oxygen to the lungs. It also stretches the spine and core, thus helping to release the toxins from the blood and purify the skin.

Along with the above asanas, drink plenty of water as it hydrates the skin and helps to remove toxins. It also helps to promote smooth bowel movements.
