U.S. Advertising Spending for 2007

In a research I have seen that US Ad Spending is expected to increase 1.7% in 2007 to 152.3 billion dollar. It was about 2.6% growth compared to last year growth in Ad spending. In the first half of current year it was shown about 1.2% growth and was expected to grow to 2.3% in the second half. It was moving bit slower than what was expected and to the last year’s growth.

Internet Advertising is leading with 16% growth share in 2007 and next place is far too away goes to cable Network TV with 5.9% growth. Outdoor and Sunday Magazines are next two major media with 4.6% and 4.5% growth respectively. Sorry to say that Newspapers shown 2.9% decline in Ad Spending compared to last years growth rate.
